Husband Suspected in Wife's Murder

According to Yavapai County Sheriff Office Media Relations Coordinator Dwight D’Evelyn, deputies took a missing person report on Sunday May 21st, 2017 regarding 39-year-old Sandra Pagniano after the report was made by a family friend.
According to the release, Pagniano was last seen on May 19th and friends got concerned when she did not show up for a scheduled social event.
The release stated that evidence obtained in the last twenty-four hours led to the arrest of fifty-five year old David Pagniano, Sandra Pagniano’s husband, for one count of 2nd degree murder after information developed that Sandra Pagniano may have been harmed or killed by her husband.
It was also mentioned that David Pagniano is in custody at a two-million-dollar bond and the couple, who were se separated but living together, have two children ages eight and twelve who are currently under monitored care.
The release stated the search for Sandra Pagniano is on-going and detectives are seeking any information on her whereabouts and encourage those with information to call the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 928-771-3278 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
