Northern Arizona Suns
On Tuesday, the Northern Arizona Suns squeaked out a 125-120 victory over the Greensboro Swarm on the road to conclude the team’s longest road-trip of the year and entered the All Star break at 16-17. At the festivities in New Orleans, Johnny O’Bryant- who recently returned to the NAZ Suns from the Denver Nuggets- went 4 of 8 shooting in the D-League All Star Game to go along with a rebound. Meanwhile, former NAZ Suns player Derrick Jones Jr. showed why he is called “Airplane Mode” and opened eyes in the NBA Slam Dunk contest after taking second place in the event-even though he did not secure an NBA dunk before being named as a participant. Now with the All-Star festivities concluded, The Northern Arizona Suns return home on Wednesday for a 6:30pm tip-off against the Windy City Bulls at the Prescott Valley Event Center.
